New Personal Bluetooth speaker from ShellPost offers durability in a small package that sounds surprisingly good. Nice materials and excellent workmanship make this affordable speaker a durable choice for the job site, garden, or workshop.

The first thing I notice when opening up the ShellPost is the initial perception of quality. It has a very solid feel and the materials are quite nice as well. A rubberized bumper surrounds the entire perimeter and provides a bit of shock protection from bumps or falls.
A heavy duty powder-coated steel grill protects the speaker and adds some durability to the rugged industrial look. Stainless steel screws finish the look and feel and provide a nice sense of quality.

This is a sealed speaker design and as such has limited low frequency response. If you require thumping bass, you should shop for something that builds significant bass into the design. Something like the best-in-class Roots Solar from House of Marley. It costs five times more but it’s worth it if sound quality is your primary goal.
Even though the bass response is quite limited, the overall sound quality is tight and strong. It the current listed price point, this a must for anyone on your shopping list!
